Timeless Travel ~~~

Rothenberg, Germany

Angel

Dzongsar Kheyntse Rinpoche's Site : Understanding the Truth and Magic of the Universe

Dzongsar Kheyntse Rinpoche's Speeches from 2006 to 2013 !!

The Buddha Path : Everything in the world is perceived by our mind, our own perception. Nothing will change until your perception changes of someone, something or  the universe.

As everything functions, that means everything has a cause , condition and effect, but non of them can be taken as the ultimate truth. Truth and non truth ( illusion /  fake )  cannot be separated, which can be seen as metaphor alike shadow and light. Good and evil cannot be separated, as  they are not one .

As water and moisture, none of both can be separated, and cannot be independent as well, while both are functioning.
If we cannot understand this" truth, and magic" , we have not obtained the essence of Buddha's teaching.

All of our fear, hope, jealousy , love have magic power, because they are both true and illusion...

Wine Tasting : French ~~~

A Lovely Wine Tasting Luncheon with good friends ~~

Chateau Grand Puy Lacoste, Pauillac
Parker:
The brilliant 2005 Grand-Puy-Lacoste exhibits classic Pauillac aromas and flavors of creme de cassis along with stony/floral notes. Proprietor Xavier Borie has created a wine that should rival the brilliant 1982, 1990, 1996, and 2000. Full-bodied with sweet tannin and superb length (a 40+ second finish), the purity of this beauty’s black currant fruit is something to behold. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2030
Score: 95

I am the Light ! from Dzongsar Rinpoche.

 — listening to Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche.

"Thinking, Fast and Slow" Or Trust your gut feeling?

This Following Short Interview is very inspiring as well! Although I personally do believe in intuition which relates to intrinsic mind rather than experiences, Dr. D. Kahneman objects to be overly confident about relying our intuition itself.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=mWaIE6u3wvw

When we meditate and be focused and mindful, we shall be in the stage of intrinsic emptiness, or so called nature of mind, or Buddha nature, we are definitely bestowed more magnificent, wise, and powerful ability than merely using our humanly analytical mind, the system 2. However, if we are not truly intact with our intrinsic mind, we should not reply on it, for it will make false judgement.

Walking in the Cloud in Taiwan

I  took a relaxing bath in the woods ~~

With Burberry Jacket... On my deck ~~  AlliShan Villa Hotel
Yes, that is a lovely Prada Sandal.

Where to discover your fortune?

The Poet in front of Mt. Kilimanjaro ....

Ginastera Piano Concerto No. 1- 1st Mov

Alberto Ginastera - Argentinian Dance No. 2

http://www.boosey.com/pages/cr/composer/composer_main.asp?composerid=2699&ttype=BIOGRAPHY&ttitle=Biography

Alberto Ginastera was the leading Argentinian composer of the twentieth century.
He was born in Buenos Aires in 1916 .

Alberto Ginastera first came to international attention in the1940s with two ballet scores, Panambí andEstancia, employing nationalist style From 1952 onwards combined folkloric elements with serial techniques and indeterminacy Late 1950s and 60s saw series of major US premieres, including Piano Concerto No.1 (Washington), Violin Concerto (New York Philharmonic/Bernstein), Harp Concerto(Philadelphia Orchestra/Ormandy) and Don Rodrigo (New York City Opera) In 1967 second opera Bomarzowas premiered in Washington, but Buenos Aires production was banned for political reasons and not staged until 1972 Married cellist Aurora Natola in 1971 and left Argentina for new home in Geneva Late works, in which folk influences are fully subsumed into a rich and multi-coloured modern idiom, include opera Beatrix CenciGlosses for orchestra, Piano Concerto No.2 and two cello concertos

Works by Alberto Ginastera include:
Dances from Estancia (1941) for orchestra
Variaciones concertantes (1953) for chamber orchestra
Bomarzo (1966-67) Opera in two acts
Popul Vuh [The Creation of the Maya World] (1975-83) for orchestra

Looking Ahead: Ginastera’s centenary celebration takes place in 2016.

"To compose, in my opinion, is to create an architecture... In music, this architecture unfolds in time... When time has past, when the work has unfolded, a sense of inner perfection survives in the spirit. Only then can one say that the composer has succeeded in creating that architecture." — Alberto Ginastera

Alberto Evaristo Ginastera (Spanish pronunciation: [alˈβerto eβaˈɾisto xinasˈteɾa]; April 11, 1916 – June 25, 1983) was an Argentine composer of classical music. He is considered one of the most important Latin American classical composers.[1]

Paris Sidewalk in Taipei ~~

Feeling as Sitting at the sidewalk in Paris .....

谁,执我之手,敛我半世癫狂;
  谁,吻我之眸,遮我半世流离;
  谁,抚我之面,慰我半世哀伤;
  谁,携我之心,融我半世冰霜;
  谁,弃我而去,留我一世独殇;
  谁,可明我意,使我此生无憾;
  谁,可助我臂,纵横万载无双;
  谁,可倾我心,寸土恰似虚弥;
  伊,覆我之唇,祛我前世流离;

  执子之手,陪你痴狂千生;
  执子之手,共你一世风霜;

  我,牵尔玉手,收你此生所有;
  予,挽子青丝,挽子一世情思;
  予,执子之手,共赴一世情长;
  曾,以父之名,免你一生哀愁;

Café de Flore ~~ A profound and beautiful place to be ...

Cafe de Flore: 「

Do you believe in soul mates?
Do you believe in past life and future life ?
How come you would feel destine to be attracted  to someone?
Is there only one soul mate in one lifetime?
And any other relationships are merely encounters?
If you understand the lifetime course of cause and conditions,
will you resolve the pain that has affected on you?

“Café de Flore” is a love story about people separated by time and place but connected in profound and mysterious ways: Jacqueline, a young mother with a Down syndrome son in 1960s Paris, and Antoine, a recently-divorced, successful DJ in present day Montreal. Adopt Films’s Jeff Lipsky said, “ ‘Café de Flore’ simply blew our socks off. It is a richly satisfying, crowd-pleasing balancing act that blends love and humor, and that redefines steadfast compassion in places it is seldom
encountered.”

After watching the French film " Cafe de Flore", directed by Jean- Marc Vallee,
I have been submerged into deep contemplation of such entanglement among sentient beings.
This is a beautiful film which would evoke your compassion, as seeing so many suffering and sudden changes in their lives , but finally in the end, they discover thier love, and forgiveness within their souls, through understanding the mystery of reincarnation.

The film suggests that if there is any non-resolved relation and affection in our souls in our past lives,
we would definitely search to amend and rectify these problems in this life time.

What is true Love? Amour Film 2012

We were watching a French film "Amour ", directed by Micael Haneke, a truthful life story that will ignite our compassion and self reflection about aging and death that everyone shall encounter in the future...~~~ 中文片名「愛慕」

What is love?
Do you end her life by setting her free physically and spiritually ?

and at the same time, setting yourself free?
Or do you let her suffer but live ?

BlueGirl Fashion ~~ Shake the darling buds ...

After paty ...
Blue Girl 's  Sky Blue Dress

Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date:
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimm'd;
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance or nature's changing course untrimm'd;
But thy eternal summer shall not fade
Nor lose possession of that fair thou owest;
Nor shall Death brag thou wander'st in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou growest:
So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this and this gives life to thee. ---- Shakespeare

The Pure Land ~

The Play in Full (Lalitavistara) is without a doubt one of the most important sūtras within Buddhist Mahāyāna literature. With parts of the text dating from the earliest days of the Buddhist tradition, this story of the Buddha’s awakening has captivated the minds of devotees, both ordained and lay, as far back as the beginning of the common era.
In brief, The Play in Full tells the story of how the Buddha manifested in this world and attained awakening. The sūtra, which is structured in twenty-seven chapters, begins with the Buddha being requested to teach the sūtra by several gods, as well as the thousands of bodhisattvas and śrāvakas in his retinue. The gods summarize the sūtra in this manner (chap. 1):
“Blessed One, there is an extensive collection of discourses on the Dharma that bears the name Lalitavistara (The Play in Full). This teaching illuminates the basic virtues of the bodhisattvas, showing how the Bodhisattva descended from the sublime palace in theHeaven of Joy, intentionally entered the womb, and sojourned in the womb. It shows the power of the place where he was born to a noble family, and how he surpassed others through all the superior special qualities that he demonstrated through his actions as a youth. It shows his many unique qualities, such as his skills in craftsmanship, activity, writing, arithmetic, calculations, astrology, fencing, archery, feats of physical strength, and wrestling, demonstrating his superiority to all other beings in these areas. It shows how he enjoyed his retinue of consorts and the pleasures of his kingdom.
“This teaching proclaims how he attained the result brought about by the concordant cause of all the bodhisattva activities, showing how he manifested as a bodhisattva and destroyed the legions of Māra. It explains the ten powers, the four fearlessnesses, and the other innumerable qualities of a thus-gone one, and presents the infinite teachings taught by the thus-gone ones of times past.”
The Buddha silently accepts this request, and the following day he commences the teaching.
The story begins in the divine realms where the future Buddha (who, prior to his awakening, is known as the Bodhisattva) enjoys a perfect life surrounded by divine pleasures. Due to his past aspirations, however, the musical instruments of the palace call out to him, reminding him of his prior commitment to attain awakening (chap. 2). Inspired by this reminder, the Bodhisattva announces, to the despair of the gods, that he will abandon his divine pleasures in pursuit of full and complete awakening on this earth (Jambudvīpa), where he will take birth within a suitably noble family (chap. 3).
