音樂家，怎能不讀詩？

音樂家，怎能不讀詩？

怎能不看畫，不讀文學，不創作藝術？

鋼琴家更是如此！！

10指彈出魔力 列夫席茲 Lifschitz：鋼琴家怎可不讀詩？

「鋼琴家怎麼可以不讀詩？怎麼可以不看畫呢？完全困在音樂世界裡，會出問題的！」享譽國際的中生代俄國鋼琴家列夫席茲（Konstantin Lifschitz），外表看起來像苦行僧，練起琴來像拚命三郎，指下的音樂充滿魔力。

列夫席茲一九七六年生於烏克蘭，五歲時就讀格涅辛音樂學校，向柴琳克曼（Tatiana Zelikman）學習。他十八歲那年在畢業音樂會上彈奏巴哈《郭德堡變奏曲》，現場演出被灌錄成唱片，竟入圍葛萊美獎，《紐約時報》樂評更評為「繼顧爾德之後最具影響力的詮釋」，讓他成為傳奇人物。

列夫席茲目前正在台北藝術大學、台灣師範大學舉行大師班，下周將舉辦兩場音樂會，分別演出貝多芬及舒伯特的晚期作品。

列夫席茲的演奏充滿爆發力也深具說服力，去年他來台演出《郭德堡變奏曲》及蕭士塔高維契《廿四首前奏曲與賦格》，受到樂迷喜愛。他與柏林愛樂小提琴首席樫本大進合作錄製貝多芬小提琴奏鳴曲全集，專輯將在近期發行。

列夫席茲表示，俄國音樂教育講究的是全方位藝術學習。他的老師柴琳克曼一直鼓勵學生多讀文學、多看畫，「可惜我當時年紀太小，根本聽不進去，直到後來跟隨傅聰上課，再次被提醒，我才知道文學對音樂的重要性，後來我就經常讀詩。」

「詩跟音樂一樣，有一種特殊的節奏，會觸動人的內心，這會讓人對音樂更有想法。我認為，想要當好一名鋼琴家，就必須理解語言的藝術，你才能進一步知道那些無法用語言具體描述的事，要如何用音樂來傳達。」

列夫席茲這次來台將演奏貝多芬最後的三首奏鳴曲，分別代表信、望、愛三種美德，「這也是貝多芬晚年的中心思想。」貝多芬奏鳴曲被視為鋼琴世界的新約聖經，不只技巧難度高，精神層面的表現也困難，列夫席茲卻有他獨門的練習方式。

「你要把每一首曲子當成一個人，只有跟他長期相處，你才抓得住這個人的心思；唯有跟這些曲子共同生活久了，你才會知道它在說什麼。」

列夫席茲也將演奏舒伯特的最後三首奏鳴曲。他表示，「我把這三首曲子看成一個整體，有點像是舒伯特預知自己的生命即將結束，在交代遺言。」

列夫席茲將於四月八日演出貝多芬最後三首鋼琴奏鳴曲，四月十日演奏舒伯特最後三首鋼琴奏鳴曲，地點在台北國家音樂廳。

We have so many faces that sometimes we do not even recognize .
Sometimes we express the sweet, loving, tender and caring side of us,
Angel; 
sometimes we burst out with rage, vengeance, lust, and jealousy,
Devil. 
However, we are who we are; 
we are the combination of Angel and Devil inside us, 
human beings with flesh and soul,
bundled with all kinds of emotions.

These emotions are often titillated by the ones
who tempt us,
assault us , equivocate us, insult us, and enrage us.
Nevertheless, because we believe we equal to these emotions, and
we believe sternly that we are the object to be aggravated,
since then, we have been enslaved by those who ignite the fire.
In fact, to be more correct,
we have been enslaved by our wrong belief, wrong view.

Yes, manifestation of Angel and Devil do not exist permanently,
as long as we are aware,
Angel will always be Angel theologically.
Does that sound evanescent as ever?

Yet, fortunately, Buddha said there is one thing that will last eternally,
while everything else appears to be so ephemeral and non trust worthy.
And that is an Intrinsic heart, Truth, Light, Rigpa, God, Buddha nature, whatever you want to call it ...
All compassion and love come from this intrinsic heart, and the manifestation of emptiness.

Hereby there is wealth, peace and ultimate happiness. 

I do hold a great deal of gratitude toward these people
whom I tried to escape from,
and whom I feel troubled and mistreated by them.
They have opened my eyes and my mind to the frontier that I have never been to, which appears to be an necessary undiscovered land in practice to come home to Nirvana, to become a free spirit.

Listening to his Beethoven is like watching a play, 
a drama that tells stories and stages the entire effect.
Konstantin Lifschitz played the last and the most difficult three sonatas by Beethoven, 
while the romanticism dramatically prevailed and the classic elegance laid within .
He had a wide range of sonority, 
and he was not afraid of using liberty and much rubato in Beethoven, 
which made his interpretation very unique and mind catching !!

遠了；
好久沒嗅到這些夾雜的語言，
不習慣了；
我覚知著。

不再用憤怒表現，
逃避著傷痛的，厭惡的感覺。
我的心，
正在尋找自由的大門....。

一顆純潔瀟灑的心。

Pinchas Zukerman in Taipei !!

Taipei's trip must be very tiring for him, for he seemed not enjoying his own performance! :)

At the age of 65, touring performance must be demanding; I can still hear his brilliance in the fingers...

It was a nurturing performance though, since we do not hear many Piano Quintet often. Bravo!

I love the Encore piece very much : " Shostakovich Piano Quintet" !!

Pinchas Zukerman, ( born in 1948 ) a prominent violin virtuoso,  launched his conducting career in 1970 with the English Chamber Orchestra, and served as director of London's South Bank Festival from 1971 to 1974. In the USA, Zukerman was music director of the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra from 1980 to 1987. He later directed the summer festivals of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra (1991–1995) and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (1996–1999). In 1999,^[4] he became Music Director of Ottawa's National Arts Centre Orchestra (NACO). In March 2012, the NACO announced the scheduled conclusion of his music directorship in 2015.^[5] He has served as Principal Guest Conductor of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra since 2009.

Zukerman is on the faculty at the Manhattan School of Music and is the head and founder of the Zukerman Performance Program at the school.
