Love is the reason ~~ Old Wine experience ..

Love should be the reason behind everything you do,
if it is not, you should question why you are doing it.

I love tasting old wines, for I can travel through history feeling young and vibrant.

This particular wine from 1979, Chateau Parie Decesse, exhibits different layers of fragrance and texture, that richness and full body was not present,  instead the elegant taste,  honey, and earthy aroma permeated in my tasting experience.

 — feeling tired.

Dutoit and Debussy in Taipei

Charles Édouard Dutoit, (French pronunciation: [ʃaʁl e.dwaːʁ dy.twa]OC GOQ (born 7 October 1936) is a Swiss conductor, particularly noted for his interpretations of French and Russian 20th century music. He has made influential modern recordings of Hector Berlioz's Roméo et Juliette and Maurice Ravel's ballets Daphnis et Chloé and Ma mère l'oye. He currently serves as the Principal Conductor and Artistic Director of London's Royal Philharmonic Orchestra

I love his " La Mer" so much that I can still hear the sound of ocean and waves after the performance for several days.

On 6/22 in the National concert hall Taipei, elegant atmosphere was penetrated in the air by the London's   Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
It was not a contrast to perform Romantic French music though when Dutoit started off with a friendly, optimistic, and rather dramatic smile and gesture.

Dutoit, a Swiss Condutor, is best known for his interpretation of 20 century French music, with much dynamic and natrual flow that you can feel as watching a play or ballet dance with real stories between lines. As for this particular concert, he conducted Ravel's Daphnnis and Chloe, you can actually image the scene and drama.

It was an impressively impressionistic joy.

Sing and Party with Jean Paul Gualtier

It is an 80's Party at the Green Park  ~~
Have you forgotten how Madonna sang her famous song , Like a Virgin ? !
How were we supposed to know what that meant when we did not even party and fall in love ?

Love the dynamic little black dress...

A magnificent film ~~ Water, 禍水

Trailer for Deepa Mehta's OSCAR-nominated film WATER

How does your comforting zone deceive you?

"Our comforting conviction that the world makes sense rests on a secure foundation: our almost unlimited ability to ignore our ignorance."
― Daniel Kahneman , Thinking Fast and Slow

However, I do believe it is so suffering by knowing the truth, and at the same time, accepting the fact and calamity that incur in any incident and concept.

The comfort zone does provide much more security, although the one that may be false and fictitious.
We do prefer living in the comforting zone while we actually think we hate lies and deception.

Isn't that so?

By the time, we discover the truth, which  we previously subconsciously  knew and denied,

we shall suffer a long period time of chaos and self-denial.

Logo Drama ....

Sometimes it is fun to experience various emotions and expressions ....!

" She deposited her name in my vocabulary...
And stepped into my life surefooted like the verb she was.

Nuances of old adjectives I thought I knew appeared thereof:

Evening. Autumnal. Breathless. Open. Wild.

Moreover her presence argued
As convincingly as the softest concrete nouns:

Wind and Flower. Dove and Sky.

Adverbs trailed mellifluously, ethereally from her gown.

But, alas , she was a verb,
Transitive, ont eh move.

Ultimately even the nouns turned abstract
Like Delusion and Caprice.

Trusting in her indicative sighs,
I never suspected she would leave me
In this blue subjunctive mood. "

La Mer ~~~~

Wild nights Playing with Waves ~~

Debussy : From Dawn to Noon on the Sea , Abbado

A typical performance of this piece lasts about 23 or 24 minutes. It is in three movements:
Usually translated as:
  1. "From dawn to noon on the sea" or "From dawn to midday on the sea" - very slow - animate little by little (B minor)
  2. "Play of the Waves" - allegro (with a very versatile rhythm) - animated (C sharp minor)
  3. "Dialogue of the wind and the sea" or "Dialogue between wind and waves" - animated and tumultuous - give up very slightly (C sharp minor)

Not in Armani Suit ? Why Bother ? Babe

Ideal .....

Male, another similar species of deteriorated human being,
not only they are not superior or nobler ,
they are no less eccentric and manipulative than us.

Why are you letting your libido spurn ?

Choosing the Old or the Young?

Neither of them are qualified for your liking.;
as a result,
why bother of having your mind twisted
for these past thousand days...
Babe...

While you wonder,

Dalai Lama Said : in Chinese ..I don't know how that happened..

 "無論發生什麼事,那都是唯一會發生的事。

我們所經歷的事,不可能,絕不可能以其他的方式發生,即便是最不重要的細節也不會。並不存在「要是我當時做法不一樣…那麼結果就會不一樣。」。無論 發生什麼事,那都是唯一會發生的,而且一定要那樣發生,才能讓我們學到經驗,以便繼續前進。生命中,我們經驗的每一種情境都是絕對完美的,即便它不符我們的理解與自尊。"

"The Great Gatsby" 2 : Where is your Green Light ?

"Gatsby believed in the green light, the orgastic future that year by year recedes before us. It eluded us then, but that’s no matter—tomorrow we will run faster, stretch out our arms farther. . . . And then one fine morning—
So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past."
by F. Scott Fizgerald  " The Great Gatsby " Ch. 9

"These words conclude the novel and find Nick returning to the theme of the significance of the past to dreams of the future, here represented by the green light. He focuses on the struggle of human beings to achieve their goals by both transcending and re-creating the past. Yet humans prove themselves unable to move beyond the past: in the metaphoric language used here, the current draws them backward as they row forward toward the green light. This past functions as the source of their ideas about the future (epitomized by Gatsby’s desire to re-create 1917 in his affair with Daisy) and they cannot escape it as they continue to struggle to transform their dreams into reality. While they never lose their optimism (“tomorrow we will run faster, stretch out our arms farther . . .”), they expend all of their energy in pursuit of a goal that moves ever farther away. This apt metaphor characterizes both Gatsby’s struggle and the American dream itself. Nick’s words register neither blind approval nor cynical disillusionment but rather the respectful melancholy that he ultimately brings to his study of Gatsby’s life."

"大亨小傳 " The Great Gatsby 裡的 Jay, Leonardo DiCaprio 與Titanic 裡的 Jack

What is your American Dream in New York?
Is it Wealth ? or Love ?
Can you have both and be moral and ethical?

Many of us doubt that;
however, what is more touching is the intrinsic quality of a true heart within a human soul.
" .... when he kissed this girl, and forever wed his unutterable visions to her perishable breath, his mind would never romp again like the mind of God. So he waited, listening for a moment longer to the tuning-fork that had been struck upon a star. Then he kissed her. At his lips' touch she blossomed for him like a flower and the incarnation was complete."-

F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby, Ch. 6
